What is the difference between "ViXion01S" and "ViXion01"?

The ViXion01S retains the same autofocus function as the ViXion01, and has the same lens diameter, but the main updated features/specifications are as follows:

  • Redesigned for everyday use
  • By customizing the removable outer frame lens (outer lens), it is possible to address individual eye issues such as astigmatism (customization to lenses for astigmatism, polarized lenses, blue light cut lenses, etc. is possible)
  • Approximately 40% lighter
  • Interpupillary distance is expanded by approximately 1.3 times (55mm~73mm)
  • Continuous operating time is increased by 1.5 times (up to approximately 15 hours)
Is device for correcting myopia, hyperopia, or presbyopia?

ViXion01S is not a "spectacle" as a medical device, so it does not claim to be effective in correcting or correcting vision, but ViXion01S is a device that supports smooth focus adjustment from extremely close to long distances.

Does device correct astigmatism?

ViXion01S is not a medical device, and does not claim to have the effect of correcting or correcting vision, including astigmatism. However, the lens in the outer frame of ViXion01S (outer lens) can be replaced with a lens for astigmatism, so that people with astigmatism can use it. It is assumed that you will ask a general optician to replace the lens for astigmatism, etc.

ViXion01S can support focus adjustment for each eye.

Do you have other designs and sizes?

Currently, ViXion01S is available in only one size, but two sizes of nose pads are included. In the future, we will consider expanding the lineup of designs and sizes based on customer requests.

What interpupillary distance (IPD) can you accommodate?

The interpupillary distance (IPD) can be adjusted between 55mm and 73mm (you can adjust it by sliding the left and right lens positions). Please try device once to see if it suits you.

ViXion01S is intended for use in stationary situations and in specific situations, rather than as a regular replacement for glasses. For example, it is intended for use in situations where both hands are full, such as electronic work, plastic models, knitting, and other detailed work, as well as situations where you need to stare at small letters, such as working on a PC or using a smartphone.
